Be nice to your back, and your garden! Get a compost tumbler. Rotating composters or spinning composters, as pictured below, are typically more expensive than compost bins or the home made "chicken wire” bins but they are more efficient and much easier to operate. With compost tumblers it is not unusual to have finished compost in less than a month! If you already have a compost bin, then you know it can take a many months to get finished compost. It is all about the aeration and mixing – and the compost tumblers do both effectively and easily.
